Randy has been at the helm of the agency since 2003. He has spent 20 years in the finance, public accounting and technology industries, directly participating in venture funding, business acquisitions, and operations and risk management. As a licensed CPA, with a graduate degree in finance, Randy advises clients on matters relating to risk management, insurance program design, contract negotiation, and finance. Randy holds licenses for property and casualty Insurance as well as FINRA series 6, 7 and 63 securities licenses. Randy earned his undergraduate degree from Alma College, and his MBA in Finance from Northwestern University. He is also a member of the executive leadership group, Vistage Michigan.
Michael began his career in Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance in 1998 working for a large insurance brokerage firm in Chicago. Prior to joining Korthase Flinn, he developed expertise and skill handling large accounts in Chicago, where he was responsible for risk management consulting, contract review, day-to-day service and insurance placement. His client experience includes manufacturing, food production, real estate, healthcare, contractors and other complex risks. At KorthaseFlinn Michael provides risk management consulting, coverage analysis, contract review, audit resolution, client service and carrier negotiations for our large commercial clients. Michael has earned his Associate in Risk Management designation, is a Licensed Insurance Counselor in the state of Michigan and has held a Property & Casualty License throughout his career. Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.
Rachel joined the KorthaseFlinn Business Insurance team in 2011. As an Account Manager, Rachel excels at customer service. Some of her primary responsibilities include assisting customers with their questions, endorsement and audit processing, policy reviews, certificates of insurance, and insurance placement. Rachel is licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance. She earned her undergraduate degree from North Central Michigan College and Grand Valley State University.
Darlin joined the Business Insurance team us as an Account Manager in January of 2015 and provides outstanding professional service to her clients. Darlin came to KorthaseFlinn with over 25 years of experience as a Customer Service Representative working for independent agencies in Southern Michigan where she gained valuable knowledge handling many construction related accounts. Darlin holds a Property & Casualty license and is currently working toward the completion of her CISR designation.
Jennifer joined the Personal Insurance Division of KorthaseFlinn in 2014 and in 2016 transitioned to the Business Insurance team. Jennifer has worked in the financial sector since 2007 making her well-suited to serving the small business community as an insurance advisor. She is licensed in Property and Casualty, as well as Life and Health with Long Term Care and Annuity certifications. In 2016 she earned a Certified Authority on Workers' Compensation designation (CAWC). Jennifer earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Lake Superior State University in 2008 and is a 2006 Graduate of Leadership Little Traverse.
