Randy has been at the helm of the agency since 2003. He has spent 20 years in the finance, public accounting and technology industries, directly participating in venture funding, business acquisitions, and operations and risk management. As a licensed CPA, with a graduate degree in finance, Randy advises clients on matters relating to risk management, insurance program design, contract negotiation, and finance. Randy holds licenses for property and casualty Insurance as well as FINRA series 6, 7 and 63 securities licenses. Randy earned his undergraduate degree from Alma College, and his MBA in Finance from Northwestern University. He is also a member of the executive leadership group, Vistage Michigan.

Trent is a career professional with 10 years of experience in the commercial banking industry. Licensed in Property & Casualty Insurance, Trent has extensive experience in a variety of financial and strategic matters including mergers & acquisitions, commercial construction, and risk management. In his role, Trent strives to develop and maintain long-term professional relationships with the clients and communities that he supports. Trent is a 2007 graduate of Michigan State University with a double major in Human Biology and Finance. He is a current board member of the Boyne Area Chamber of Commerce and Freshwater Future, and an active Ambassador of the Petoskey Chamber of Commerce.

Ben entered the insurance industry in 2015 as a Business Insurance Associate. At KorthaseFlinn, Ben works closely with business owners to assist them in defining their individual risk profiles and implementing appropriate risk management programs. A native of Harbor Springs, Ben is committed to supporting his clients and the business communities across northern Michigan. Ben holds his Property & Casualty Insurance license and is on the Tip of the Mitt Quality Deer Management Association Board. He attended Northern Michigan University, where he studied Business Entrepreneurship.

Amanda has been a licensed professional in the insurance industry for 20 years. She has held positions in Agency Management, Marketing, Customer Service, Sales, and IT. Amanda earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biochemistry from Northern Michigan University. She is licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance, as well as Life and Health. She has earned the prestigious designations of Certified Risk Manager (CRM) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), placing her among the elite Risk Management experts in the industry. Amanda serves as president of the Harbor Springs Little League, co-president of the Harbor Springs Ski Boosters and is a coach for Northern Michigan Ski Academy.

Kristine is a talented professional who has been honing her account management skills since 2004. Kristine brings her energetic personality and exceptional customer service skills to her role. She is licensed in Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health and has earned the industry designation of Certified Authority on Worker’s Compensation (CAWC). She is an alumnus of Lake Superior State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Management. Kristine is active in the community and serves on the planning committee for the Gaylord Area Chamber of Commerce.

Valerie joined KorthaseFlinn in Fall of 2019 as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. She brings a wealth of knowledge to KorthaseFlinn clients with over 13 years of insurance industry experience along with a license in Property and Casualty. Valerie also holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Governors State University. She currently resides in Traverse City with her husband and 2 boys. She enjoys biking, hiking, snowmobiling and anything outdoors. In her free time, she enjoys reading suspense books and sewing.
